Parliamentary privilege

The Speaker of the House has just reaffirmed the principle of parliamentary supremacy over the cabinet/government.  He has allowed two weeks for some practical arrangement to be made between the government and parliament before giving an order as a result of the finding.

We are getting very close, again, to a face-off mirroring that of the English Civil War (though, one hopes, less violent) ...
