The National Post has a couple of articles on theodicy today responding to Pat Robertson's little off-the-meds observations on Haiti. Now I expect nothing and get less from Robertson, but maybe some journalist has heard of the Lisbon earthquake? Hello? or maybe just Candide?
Addendum, January 22nd:
The NYT had an article on Voltaire with a reference to his poem on the disaster in Lisbon as well as Candide. So all is not completely lost.
