The Uselessness of Amazon Reviews

I decided I wanted a review of the third Arden Shakespeare edition of Richard II: I have the second edition and was considering whether I should get the third.

There are no proper journal reviews by decent critics available online. OK, so I go to look at the Amazon reviews.

Utterly useless.

None of the reviews reference the Arden edition as such at all, many are explicitly of other editions, and none deal with text and/or apparatus.

ETA: not quite entirely fair; there are some reviews which do reference the Arden 3 edition, but none provide a comparative evaluation of why one might want one edition over another.
