Matt Galloway, on Metro Morning today: "Currently one degree with a high of zero today". (In fact, the prediction is for steadily dropping temperatures throughout the day, which would be a better way of summing up the day.)

Nobody seems to deal well with the idea that it will be warmer in the morning than at mid-afternoon. I'm pretty sure because you have to add some third value (at least) to capture the idea of temperature trend.

There are a lot of good visualizations for temperature trend out there in weather apps; I hope Environment Canada eventually standardizes on one.
