Ontario Progressive Conservatives' new leader is Doug Ford.

We can only hope this turns into an act of political seppuku.

ETA: this is temporarily looking like popcorn time: they are consumed in argument, have made no official announcement, and asked the convention to go home because they ran out their lease of the centre..

I always recognized that admitting that, with the end of the Carbon Binge, everything would have to change would be a politically lumpy and difficult time.

I was not expecting quite this much sticking fingers in ears and shouting "LA LA LA LA".

Fortunately I have few relatives in Ontario and I doubt this particular dumpster fire will excite as much attention beyond our borders as the Trumpster or Crackhead Rob.
